A free online metronome, ready to play

Set the tempo from 20 to 300 BPM and press Start. Use tap tempo to find the speed of a song with a few taps. The ASMM metronome runs directly in your browser, on your phone or computer, without an account.

Choose a time signature and accents, then add subdivisions: eighth notes, triplets, sixteenth notes, quintuplets, sextuplets or septuplets. Adjust the swing, practice with silent bars or gradual tempo increases, and save your favorite settings.

Explore further: polyrhythms

Play two or three rhythms together, then speed them up: the pulses become pitches. A 3:2 ratio produces a perfect fifth; 4:5:6, a major chord. Explore the connection between rhythm and harmony with the “Rhythm → Interval” slider.
