Thomas Enhco

Pianist / Composer

Born in September 1988 in Paris, Thomas Enhco is a renowned pianist and composer specializing in jazz and classical music.

After studying violin and classical piano, he trained in jazz at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood and the Paris Conservatoire. An international artist, he records for prestigious labels such as Verve, Deutsche Grammophon, and Sony Music, and performs over 100 concerts annually at iconic venues including the Philharmonie de Paris, Montreux Jazz Festival, Shanghai Grand Theater, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

Recent Albums:

A Modern Songbook (2023), a live recording blending jazz, pop, and classical influences;

Thirty (2019), featuring his own Piano Concerto;

Bach Mirror and Funambules (2021 and 2016), in duo with marimbist Vassilena Serafimova;

Feathers (2015), a solo piano album;

Fireflies (2012), a jazz trio album.

As a jazz pianist, his solo performances uniquely combine improvisations, jazz standards, pop songs, and classical themes. In 2023, he captivated audiences with a tribute to Keith Jarrett’s Köln Concert at the Philharmonie de Paris.

As a classical pianist, Thomas regularly performs concertos by Mozart, Ravel, and Gershwin, alongside his own symphonic works, such as the Piano Concerto and Double Concerto for Marimba and Piano. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Orchestre National de France and the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, under conductors like Jean-Claude Casadesus and Laurence Equilbey.

Prolific Composer

Thomas frequently receives commissions for orchestras, chamber ensembles, and film scores, with recent projects including the soundtracks for Elle & Lui (2024) and Un Mondo in Più (2021).

Awards

Winner of the Grand Prix SACEM du Jazz (2020), Victoires du Jazz (2013), and Django d’Or (2010), he has collaborated with legendary artists such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jack DeJohnette, Renaud Capuçon, and Maria João Pires.

From 2013 to 2021, he was supported by the BNP Paribas Foundation.
