Nikola Zmijarevic, originally from Paris, started playing guitar as a teenager before joining the American School of Modern Music, where he graduated in 2019. That same year, he was awarded a Berklee World Tour Scholarship, allowing him to study in the United States at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, from which he graduated in 2022 with the distinction “Summa Cum Laude”.
His years of study in France and the United States enabled him to train with renowned guitarists (Tim Miller, Nir Felder, Cecil Alexander, Nelson Veras, among others).
Comfortable as both a bandleader and a sideman, he released his debut album, “Vivid Dreams,” in 2024, featuring Helios Mikhail, Florian Berret, and Marin de Nattes. His music blends Fusion, Jazz, Groove, and Progressive Rock, creating a colorful and powerful musical universe, where the electric guitar is highlighted in its most modern form.
He also works with various pop artists, both on stage and in the studio (Kazy Lambist, Glasses, Brÿan). Notably, he contributed to the recording of Kazy Lambist’s second album, “Moda,” released in 2024.
