Passionate about music from an early age, he began his musical journey in 1983, later joining the Conservatory of Saint-Brieuc in 1988, where he studied with the renowned saxophonist Pierrick Pédron. In 1992, he pursued musicology studies while teaching as an assistant at the CIM, the renowned jazz school in Paris.
His professional career took off in 1991 with a recording alongside Eddy Louiss in the Multicolore Feeling ensemble. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his long-standing collaboration with Magic Malik, performing with the Human Spirit group and later the Magic Malik Orchestra. Their partnership spanned 20 years, producing 7 albums and leading to international tours on prestigious stages such as:

In parallel, he built a dynamic career as a sideman, notably performing with Paco Séry during a year-and-a-half-long tour.
