Helios MIKHAÏL, a passionate and versatile drummer, began his musical journey at a young age. He trained at the Conservatory of Perpignan, earning a First Prize in Drumming with highest honors, and later at the Dante Agostini School in Toulouse, where he graduated with a First Prize and jury’s congratulations in 2017. That same year, Helios received a Full Scholarship to the prestigious American School of Modern Music.
At only 24 years old, Helios already boasts significant experience both on stage and in education. His credits include:
•Drummer for the show Ali Baba and the 40 Drummers.
•Performances with the band Mosaic Jazztet and participation in musicals such as Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, CATS, and The Show Must Go On (QUEEN Tribute).
•Tours across France, Germany, and Switzerland with the band Cancel The Apocalypse, including opening acts for Hypno5e (La Maroquinerie – Paris, Connexion Live – Toulouse) and for Shannon Wright at Lo Bolegason (Castres).
•Recording multiple music videos.
•Winning the Jazzèbre competition with the band Newlandera.
Helios has also played with several orchestras, including Orchestre Dune, Orchestre Elixir, and Orchestre Permission de Minuit. In addition to his performance career, Helios is a drum instructor at the Dante Agostini School of Toulouse.
